As much as we love the satisfaction of hanging a finished piece on the wall there’s something in the process that wins us over every time. If you’ve ever found solace in the making process you can relate to the feeling. What first started as a gift idea for family friends, turned into a whole new venture that we are so proud to announce and dive into!
Makery Sessions.
We’re opening our doors and inviting you in for a few hours so you can make and create your own versions of Paper Pleasers lasercut art. We hosted a few groups over the winter and realized how much fun it was to give others a first hand experience at what we do. Our work involves so many detailed steps but we figured out a system that gives you the opportunity to take part of that.
How It Works:
First, check out our booking calendar to see what classes are available. Find a date and a few friends and continue booking through Acuity. Once we have confirmation of everyone we send out the design selection process. You have the opportunity to make 3 different pieces during a class, two of which are up to you. You will have the opportunity to make a personalized welcome sign on reclaimed wood, a Love Where You Live Mini, and a framed laser cut wall art on paper. After that it’s up to us to make it happen for your class.
When you arrive, you’ll receive a tray that has all of your pre-selected designs. With our help, we walk you through our creative process for our décor and let you go. You have all the artistic freedom to pick the reclaimed boards, frames, and papers of your choice so you can incorporate your own design and style. We provide all the supplies and tools necessary for creating your décor. All you have to do is show up and bring whatever snacks and beverages you’d like to enjoy while you’re here!
